There are three parts to dengue fever. The divisions are A, B and C. First category patients are normal. They just have a fever. Most dengue patients are in ‘A’ category. There is no need for them to be hospitalized.

It is often seen that the fever gets better but the blood pressure goes down, the body becomes cold. In this case you have to be hospitalized. ‘C’ category dengue fever is the worst. In some cases an intensive care unit or ICU may be required.

Must be at full rest:

If you have a fever, you should rest. Fever should not be rushed. It is better not to do the hard work that a person usually does every day. Even if the fever is good, you have to rest.
