Search engine and how does a search engine work
Internet users search for the
information they need in a variety of ways. Someone visits his desired website
by entering the address directly. And those who do not know the address of the
specific site, they usually search by typing different keywords in the search
engine. Then the search engine provides different information according to its
keywords.
The most popular search engines today
are Google, Yahoo and Bing. Most Internet users rely on search engines to find
the information they need. Search engines can easily find the necessary
information or website without knowing any address. So search engines are very
important for internet users and web developers.
We use search engines to get thousands of essential information at glance. Ever wondered where or how this information comes from? Everyone will easily answer this question; Google provides all the information through our web browser.
So the question is where does Google get all this
information from? Today I will show you how Google provides you with this
information and how your favorite blog also appears in front of everyone
through search engines.
What is search engine?
A search engine is a web machine or
software for finding information online. As much information as there is
online, a search engine fires stores that information in its database and then
displays that information to us from its stored database. In a word, a search
engine is a machine or software that collects information from online and
presents it to people.
How does a search engine work?
Usually every search engine has a type of software to collect information from online. This software is called web crawler or robot or bot in search engine language. The main function of a web crawler or bot is to increase the number of websites online and collect information from different websites / blogs and store it in the search engine database.
When someone searches a search engine to find any information, the
search engine checks its database and displays the results in front of us from
the search engine's database.
In fact, if you explain all these
things in the language of search engines, people like me will not be able to
understand these things easily. That is why I am trying to present the subject
easily for the convenience of everyone's understanding without analyzing in the
language of search engine. E.g.

Get it easily when you put a file or
song on the hard disk of your desktop or laptop or mobile, but the information
you see from the internet is not on the hard disk of your computer or mobile.
So the question is where do they come from? Blew I am clearing the matter to
you through an example.
Example: Suppose you put your
computer's hard disk somewhere else without connecting it to the computer. So
how do you view the files or sings on your hard disk? To do this you will need
to connect that hard disk to the Internet through special technology i.e.
network servers.
Only then will you be able to view
those files without connecting the hard disk to your computer. similarly, every
search engine has a server made up of such huge hard disks. In which each
search engine stores all the information of the internet on their disk and from
there provides the information according to the search query in front of Saba.
Now another question that may arise in your mind is how do search engines
collect this information?
How do search engines collect
information?
Those of who, like me, have little
understanding of computers and the Internet, normally think that when you type
something into Google shows you different information from the information they
create. In fact, none of the information that Google shows us is created by
them. You may be surprised to hear this! There is nothing surprising here. I am
trying to explain this to you more simply.
There is currently nothing that cannot be found by searching on Google. If you do a Google search on difficult and complex topics like space research, starting from an ant, Google will give you instant
Information. All in all, Google has
nothing to say.
Not you think, is it possible for a
company to create so much information? If you think about it well, you will understand.
No matter how big a company is, it will never be possible for any company to
create so much information. There are more pitfalls in your mind here. So how
does Google show us so much information?
As you know, there are billions of
websites and blogs online today. Millions of new websites are growing every
day. As many people as there are in this universe, they are creating these
blogs and websites. Each website owner is writing his knowledge and experience
on their respective websites. My blog is also one of the billions of websites.
What the search engine or Google search engine is doing here is that with the help of some kind of web software or crawler or bot, the information of billions of websites all over the world is being stored in their database or web server.
The next time you search by
typing something into Google search engine or any other search engine, the
search engine consistently shows us the best information to be stored in their
database.
Then we don’t see the necessary information
by clicking on the link of that website from Google search engine. Google does
not actually own the websites that appear on Google. Google is running its own
business here. You can call it a kind of knowledge game. Steps for collecting
search engine data
Usually a search engine collects
information in three steps. Such as-crawling, indexing and providing results.
Crawling
In the first step, the search engine
sends its crawler or bot to collect information on every website in the world.
In the second step, web crawlers or bots crawl the content or posts of each
website. All kinds of text, images and videos inside a website post are indexed
in the database by crawling them.
Every search engine has a type of Web
Crawlers software. In the language of search engines, these are called ''robots
or bots'' These Web Crawlers visit every link on every website on the Internet.
Every time you visit a site, it collects new links from that site and deletes
it from the Dead Link server. In this way, every site is constantly crawl and
new information is constantly being stored on their search engine serves.
